Denim Ply

2021
Denim Ply is a building-lamination process that repurposes layers of discarded “unusable” denim as moldable sheets for creating strong furniture pieces that preserve the user’s personal intimate familiarity of the material. The material can be used to create extreme-bended structural objects in a context and function beyond the garment industry, with the upcycled panels being produced with a nontoxic binding agent in a pressurized mold.
